Our project is a fusion of 2D typography animation, crafted in Cavalry, and 3D visuals, designed using Blender, a free and open-source software.
This artistic endeavor marries the clean, crisp aesthetics of 2D animation with bold, vivid colors and sleek sans serif fonts, juxtaposed against the organic, tactile nature of 3D elements.
The 2D animations in Cavalry are characterized by their precision and clarity, utilizing bold color palettes and modern typographic design to convey messages with striking simplicity and impact. The use of sans serif fonts further enhances the contemporary feel, providing a clean, unobstructed visual experience.
In contrast, the 3D components created in Blender introduce an element of realism and depth, enriched with subtle imperfections that bring a tangible quality to the digital medium.
These 3D visuals are adorned with chromatic aberrations, giving them a slightly distorted, prismatic effect that adds to their organic charm. The materials used in the 3D objects possess minute flaws and textural irregularities, which amplify the authenticity and lifelike appearance of the scenes.
Together, these two distinct styles create a harmonious blend of the geometric precision of 2D and the textured, almost tactile essence of 3D. The project is a visual symphony where the structured, bold typographic elements play in concert with the rich, nuanced textures of three-dimensional forms, resulting in a unique and immersive viewer experience.
This innovative combination pushes the boundaries of traditional animation, offering a fresh and dynamic aesthetic that captivates and inspires.
We created a course to teach people how to create their own visual compositions using these fantastic free softwares. We share the trailer below and invite others to learn with us and develop further this fascinating visual style.
